Day 1

Start from your hotel in Ha Giang City around 8:30 and leave the city towards the mountains and peaceful villages. The first major stop is Bac Sum Pass, the first pass leading into the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.

Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, one of the highest points of the day, with mountain views and a coffee break. Drive towards Yen Minh Town for lunch, then continue to Sa Phin Village to visit the Hmong King’s Palace, the ancient house of the Vuong family.

In the late afternoon, continue through the mountain landscape to Dong Van Town. Check in at the hotel, walk around Dong Van Ancient Town and enjoy local food in the evening.

Continue to the top of Ma Pi Leng Pass for views of the Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon. After lunch in Meo Vac Town, continue by car towards Du Gia Village.
